About 20 km south of Vienna in the middle of the wine-growing region Thermenregion - lies the Piriwe family winery
Our family has been growing grapes in Traiskirchen for four generations. The winery now comprises 9 hectares of vineyards in the best locations of Traiskirchen, Gumpoldskirchen and Pfaffstätten.
The outstandingly mild climate of our region produces grapes that always reach full ripeness. The wines are characterised by high ripeness, fruitiness, extremely high extract values and longevity.
The focus of our cultivation is on grape varieties that are particularly suited to this area.
As a rule, the grapes are harvested in the Kabinett range, and in ideal conditions also in the Prädikatswein range. We place particular emphasis on the fruitiness, harmony and varietal character of our wines.
Next to the winery we run a wine tavern with 120 seats. Our wines can be tasted there in a pleasant atmosphere. The chef Jana Piriwe personally takes care of the delicacies on our buffet.
