Weingut Gemünden KG
Info:
The Gemünden family winery is located in the wine-growing region of Nahe, Bad Kreuznach. Currently, 30 hectares are cultivated by the Gemünden family and their employees. The winery is currently under the management of Daniel Gemünden, who joined his parents' business in 2012 and took over the winery from his father Andreas in 2017. Daniel Gemünden (state-certified technician in viticulture and oenology) managed to transform the former cask wine business into a winery for excellent, sophisticated bottled wines in 4 years and significantly increased the profile of the family winery. His first collection earned him the title of "Best Young Winemaker of the Nahe Region" (awarded by "Selection - Das Genussmagazin"). His deep connection to his homeland and wine, his craftsmanship and his profound knowledge are reflected in the first-class quality of his wines and lead us to expect much more in the future.
From the work in the vineyard, through selection and harvesting, to vinification and bottling: winemaking is both a science and a demanding craft. Tradition and technology, nature and man work harmoniously hand in hand. Different factors such as grape variety, soil, climate and, last but not least, the winemaker's philosophy play a decisive role in winemaking and shape the unique character of each wine. Our family winery has always placed great emphasis on consistent and reliable quality. Our first-class white wines bear our signature and are shaped by the distinctive soil diversity of the Nahe region and our passion for the vine, grape and wine. In order to meet our high standards, we concentrate exclusively on the vinification of white wine
