With his brand new wine series, Zoltan Heimann gets to the bottom of the autochthonous expression of his homeland, Szekszárd in southern Hungary. Zoltan Jr. has selected the most exciting vineyards from the solid family business, where his mother Agnes has been in charge of the cellar until now, and has vinified sophisticated and expressive wines of origin from them.

He has taken the old local grape variety Kadarka to his heart. In Hungary, it is usually used as a refreshing element in the typical Bikavér cuvée. Zoltán, however, wants to give it the role of soloist. He vinifies two wines with different origins from the delicate variety and thus breaks new ground.

The powerful counterpart to the Kadarka is the spicy Kékfrankos, which has the outstanding ability to precisely reflect its soil origin. Zoltan proves this with four Kékfrankos from very different terroirs.

His wines are demanding and uncompromising. Under the name Heimann & Fiai (Heimann & Sons), he presents idiosyncratic creations that appeal especially to those wine lovers who are looking for distinctiveness and terroir expression. The artistic label shows where Heimann & Fiai's path will lead: to the best wine bars from San Francisco to Moscow.
